Terms of Service

Censr (“Censr”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Carson Green, an individual sole proprietor. These Terms govern your use of the Censr website and service (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Censr is an in-browser PDF redaction tool. Your document is processed entirely on your device. We do not upload, store, or transmit the contents of your document to our servers.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• violate any law or the rights of others;
• process content you do not have the right to handle;
• distribute malware, spam, or fraudulent material;
• probe, scan, scrape, or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.

The Censr name, branding, software, and website are owned by Carson Green. You retain all rights to the documents you process with the Service. We claim no ownership over your content.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for refund timing.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for material breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, security risk, or repeated violations of acceptable use.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
